– Palm Sunday “ Be for me a rock of refuge, a fortress to defend me : for you are my high rock and my stronghold. ” Psalm 31:3 THANK YOU LORD For going all the way to the cross for us. For the grace that you have shown to us. That you go before us each day, preparing the way you have chosen for us to walk in. PLEASE PRAY That we will remain faithful to you throughout our lives. That we will pray diligently for ourselves and for others. For comfort and peace for all in Aged Care Facilities. For wisdom for world leaders regarding the tension with Russia and Ukraine. For comfort and support for those who have lost everything because of floods, wars or other natural disasters.

“The Lord has done great things for us and we are filled with joy.” Psalm 126:3 THANK YOU LORD • For the joy, hope and peace you give to your children. • The gift of the Holy Spirit, our guide, comforter and friend. • That you go before us each day, preparing the way you have chosen for us to walk in. • For the wisdom and contribution of our elderly parishioners, both past and present. PLEASE PRAY • With Paul his prayer in Philippians 3:10, “I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing his sufferings, becoming like him in his death and so, somehow to attain to the resurrection from the dead.” • We will love Jesus just as Mary did and show our love by faithfully serving him. • That we share with others the Good News of Jesus Christ our Saviour. • For comfort and peace for all in Aged Care Facilities. • For wisdom for world leaders regarding the tension with Russia and Ukraine. • For SES workers, RFS, the Defence personnel and all involved in the flood areas especially Lismore. •For comfort and support for those who have lost every because of the floods, the wars in Ukraine and Afghanistan, the refugees. Pray the Holy Spirit will touch their hearts and give them hope for the future.

Rejoice in the Lord, you righteous, and be glad: and shout for joy, all you that are true of heart. Psalm 32.12 Thank you, Lord, that– · We are marked as God’s own and become his sons and daughters. · We are consistently brought back into God’s welcoming embrace. · We are fed with the bread and the wind of the Eucharist. · We are entrusted with God’s message of love and reconciliation. · We are given more than we ever dare to ask or hope for. · We are welcomed beyond our imagining into the Kingdom of God. Please pray that, out of compassion and mercy, God will – · Turn his Church to emulate his generous heart, filling us with his gracious love. · Raise up in humanity a delight for forgiveness and reconciliation. · Release the fruits of the earth and commerce so that there is sufficient for all to be full. · Transform unjust structures in trading and governance worldwide. · Speak his words of blessing and healing on all who cry out in distress and despair. · Restore creation to its God-given beauty and glory.
